Technology is always changing the way businesses around the world work, and one of the biggest advancements in 2020 is coming via artificial intelligence. Artificial Intelligence, or AI for short, can be used for a variety of tasks in the business world. From chatbots to naming tools, to personal assistants or image verification, the myriad uses of AI are truly incredible. The recent pandemic has forced more and more businesses to look into the many benefits that AI can offer them. Whether you operate remotely or still have a local brick-and-mortar operation, artificial intelligence can make a huge difference for your business model. Here are some common ways that you can start to incorporate AI into your small business today.

ChatBots

People are expecting faster and faster service in 2020, and AI chatbots are a great way to provide this. Chatbots are a great way to give your customers the attention they deserve without paying an excessive amount of money in labor. They can be positioned on your company’s website and offer a communication stream that can answer a customer’s most common questions. Customers will see a window that pops up that allows them to ask questions directly to your company. Your AI can answer many of the basic questions that your customers have. It can even alert you when a question requires human involvement so you can intervene to help your customers.

Naming tools

AI also can provide your company with name matching and other tools. Data is a company’s greatest asset and its greatest challenge. Collecting data is only the first half of the battle. The second half is sorting through that data and using it to achieve better results for your company. There are many tools that you can use to sort through your data and make it work for you such as a name matching tool. This type of tool will allow you to match clients who use various name variations when interacting with your business. This boosts your client organization and data collecting abilities.

Smart personal assistants

To be successful in business, you need to be able to get as much done in a day as possible. While traditionally this was handled with personal assistants, it takes years to properly train an individual who can get to know your business and your processes. With new smart personal assistants, this can be easily done in much less time. Some of the most popular are Cortana and Siri.

Image verification

AI can help your business to secure your customer’s safety. Major businesses like Yelp and Facebook use image verification to identify their clients. This helps to prevent any digital threats. In addition, this can be used to help identify pictures of individuals against background objects.

Artificial intelligence can be a major benefit for any business, big or small. The trick is just incorporating AI into your daily business routines. The above are just four of the many examples you can use to start incorporating this technology into your business. Before long you’ll realize just how much of an asset that AI can be for your company.
